We're not sure what all these lucky people did in order to stock their 3- and 4-door garages (and barns and warehouses) with such fine examples of sheetmetal, but we wanna know!

We're glad that SpeedandMotion likes to get up early on the weekends, otherwise we'd miss out on a bunch of supercars all meeting up.

Cars & Coffee is just about the perfect way to spend the morning: a cup of Java accompanied by the dulcet tones of Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Ford GTs, Shelby Mustangs and any number of other cars you wouldn't mind having in your garage.

We always thought that Lambos have a fairly limited production run, but you wouldn't know if from this video! Positively common, at least in SoCal. Did we leave any for the rest of the country?

Bullrun 2008 - Behind the Scenes Pt 1

The most glamorous rally in the world, Bullrun ran from Calgary to Scottsdale in June 2008, with 50 teams covering 3700 miles of stunning scenery, all seen from inside their cars at triple digit speeds, and Best of Streetfire was there to capture all the action.

Richard Rawlings, Bullrun veteran, prankster, previous rally winner and, this year, running in a Chevy Caprice outfitted with a 6 liter Escalade motor, is having serious fuel pump issues.

Aaron, his chief mechanic and navigator, tries his best to fix the green beast at the side of the road, but the car needs some TLC and some new parts. An overnight stop in the small town of Seeley Lake, where the locals ain't never seen nothing like these dudes before, gives them the tools and parts they need to get back on the road and catch up to the rest of the Bullrunners.

Looks like Hovik 's been having a good time with his buddies over on the East Coast.

Nothing beats getting together with some friends in your respective rides and taking a drive, en masse, on some of your local roads.

If the turnout for this ride is anything to go by, it's a popular past time in NY! Various Vipers, Porsches, Ferraris, Corvettes, BMWs, a Quattroporte and, of course, the LP560-4 hit the road as the sun goes down and the engines rev up.

580HP Golf III Takes on Some Supercars

We have Stocki023 for this on-track action and while we could have done without the "Knight Rider on Speed" music, the driving is fairly impressive.

Any day you can take a 580hp Turbo Golf III out on the track and beat some supercars at their own game is a pretty good day.

The car has amazing straight line acceleration and our driver isn't afraid of some late braking, either. Nice job!

Tanner Foust: Top Gear USA Host

If you're any sort of car fan, you're a Top Gear fan and, like us, have been waiting to see if all the Top Gear USA talk is real. Well, turns out, it is.

And, along with Adam Carolla and some bloke we've barely heard of, drift racer and X Games Champ, Tanner Foust, is stepping in front of the camera and, we imagine, into the American shoes of Richard Hammond.

And, thanks to SpeedEngineBlock we can get an idea of what Tanner's like in front of the camera rather than behind the wheel.

Seems he's trying to move up in the world if this clip from SuperCars Exposed is anything to go by. Seriously, you can glide a car around a track, compete in the Pikes Peak Hill Climb and you don't know how to wash a car? Dude, get a grip!

Turns out the rich guy who's interested in buying an exotic isn't too impressed with Tanner's sales technique but perhaps that's a good thing. Unlike other car shows that gloss over the details and never tell you if a car is crap, maybe this means the US version of our favorite show will continue the British tradition of not pulling any punches or genuflecting to advertisers. We can but hope.

Bullrun Rally 2007 Episode #6

More action courtesy of Bullrun as we catch up with the 2007 rally en route from Montreal to Key West.

We last left the Bullrunners at their lunchtime stop in Concord, VA, where a hearty BBQ lunch was followed by a tire-smoking drift demo, just the sort of dessert that every petrolhead loves.

The teams then head South, again, bound for Savannah, GA, a genteel town that's never seen the likes of this lot before.

Progress is hampered by seemingly every State Trooper being out on patrol, plus a few unmarked cars that are trying to sneak up on our supposedly unsuspecting Bullrunners. However, plenty of counter measures (plus a relay of phone calls) alerts the pack to the wolf in their midst.

Meanwhile, Team Texas' Richard Rawlings & Dennis Collins are flying into Savannah from LA. Having shattered the cross-country record, they're now intent on beating all the rallyers to the Georgia checkpoint, too.

Back out on the road, Team Audi thinks back roads are the key to coming in first...until they realize they're nearly out of gas. But the prize for competing with true Bullrun spirit goes to David from Team Make-A-Wish who's just paid $2,500 to get bailed out of jail in Virginia. Ah well, at least he got a nice commemorative photo wearing his prison stripes and handcuffs!

It's not a race, it's a rally...but if you get caught speeding, try telling that to the nice officer with the handcuffs.

VIDEO:Exotics Rally Crew Quick Run in NYC

Hey this one is nicely done by Dreamin' TV for Exotics Rally. Exotics Rally was founded in July, 2007, for auto enthusiasts who have similar interests in cars, travel, driving, and evening activities. The rallies have been held mainly in the Manhattan area but they are branching out into other parts of the US.

The video: It's an "Exotic" night run through Manhattan. The video offers great visuals. You'll see a couple of Murcielagos, a Gallardo Superleggra, Carrera GT, and GT3Rs. There is footage of the cars seriously smoking the other traffic, but mostly the Exotic owners are having a blast just driving. And who can get enough of that Lambo roar you hear about one minute thirty-four to one minute forty-five seconds into the clip? About five minutes in the vivid images start to become softer and mimic fantasy. Pretty cool! An exotic 'car' fantasy world! Then later on all that horsepower verberates off concrete as they go through tunnels. Toward the end of the video see some "Exotic-struck" fans trying to get some snapshots standing in front of one of the Murcielagos.

The CHP (California Highway Patrol) 11-99 Foundation was created to provide assistance to current, retired and Fallen in the Line of Duty CHP employees and their families. The guys from Car-Parazzi were at their latest run through the beautiful Southern California canyons. With just about every exotic car in production today at the event, it's definitely something worth seeing.

A proper response to the question "will I see my favorite supercar in this video" would simply be "what color would you like it in." It's the who's who of exotics. You'll see everything from an original GT-40, to today's rarest production cars like the Ferrari Enzo and the Bugatti Veyron.

It's kind of funny at 2:24 when a motorcyclist going in the opposite direction decides to turn around in the middle of the road to follow the line of cars. Everyone wants to be a part of the run.

Ferrari 550 Maranello the Movie

Love seeing well edited videos. Love even more seeing a prancing horse. The 550 is one of those great Ferrari's because it heralded the company moving back to a front engine layout for their range topping car. In many ways the front engine lay out and conservative design is the antithesis of the Testarossa which is the car it replaced. The pendulum seams to be swinging back toward more gregarious styling with the 599GTB. Next to that the 550 reminds me of my favorite front engine Ferrari the Daytona....ah what a car..... Anyhow, so check out this great video of the modern classic Ferrari, the 550.

Blast from the past, the 1961 French Grand Prix of Rheims

How far we have come! After seeing the Malaysia Grand Prix last weekend this video really takes you back to a simpler time when teams would drive their Grand Prix cars into town, crews would drink and smoke around the pit lane, and fans would sit ten feet off the track. What really makes this a great video for me, was getting to meet Dan Gurney in LA recently. He is still just as passionate about the sport as when he was a driver. Great video, really enjoyed this one!

Cool Cruise with the prancing horse brigade

Browsing through the forum I just saw a post from the EVO Dude about this rather cool cruise video. I guess I missed this one when it was uploaded in December... chances are I was too bsy trying to get he new Classifieds and Site design up. Still working on the new Video section, and once that rolls I think we can finish up all the pages and really clean things up... anyhow sorry for rambling late nights and coffee are starting to takes it's tool :-)

HD (High Definition) video from SEMA

We shot a lot of footage at SEMA in high definition (1080i) and it just kills us to reduce the video all the way down to 428x321 resolution.

We thought it would be really cool to put up some HD video footage. We have a 3 minute clip from Giovanna Wheel's booth of some really nice Bentley's, Ferrari's, Royles, etc.

To watch the video we suggest the following. WMP 11, 2Ghz+ processor, 3 Mbps internet connection. The video is 1280x720 (720p for you HD geeks) encoded with WM9 VC-1 codec at 2.1 Mbps. No your dialup connection won't work.

When the page loads click the video once to activate the control and then right click it and click Zoom, Full-Screen. Please post in the comments how well it works from you (or doesn't) what type of internet connection you have (and provider) and your location.

We'll also post a follow-up direct link to the video for those on slow connections.

Love it. Every time Gustav uploads a video, I feel like a kid at Christmas. Today, we have a Ferrari F430 vs. a Lamborgini Gallardo from a rolling start.

Oh, and here is an upload I missed. Check out 2 minutes 50 seconds into this video. [Watch]. It's a Video of the Koenigsegg CCX with 806 HP driven by the company founder Christian von Koenigsegg... Anyhow the video itself is a bit shakey, but but at 2:50 Christian just flat out GETS ON IT, and the sound is so amazing that even that little cam corder microphone weeps at it....SHWEET!

So seven time F1 world Champion Michael Schumacher is not going quietly into retirement. Here he is ripping it up in a Ferrari FXX and then followed by some fun Drifto-doughnuts in a 599 GTB. I guess this is what the new "special assistant" to the CEO of Ferrari is supposed to do, huh?

Ferrari F355 vs. BMW M5

Keeping in mind this is the old e39 M5, you have got to admit this is a damn nice showing for a four door sedan. Makes you realize why the M5 has been the darling of enthusiasts everywhere for so long. Thanks to the folks at M5Board.com for uploading such a great race, that F355 sound is heavenly!

Enzo update

Okay, so now I feel like the horses ass for saying he was "was unharmed." (Via Autoblog) FerrariChat member omgjon has spoken directly to Richard Losee the driver and said the following.

"...Richard was going close to 200mph, and hit a bump in the road that sent him airborne. The car rolled 7 times and was flat as a pancake. Fortunetly he was wearing a helmet. He has cracked vertebrae in his neck and back, 4 broken ribs, broken sternum, some broken fingers, and the only surgery he made need is on his thumb. Nothing life threatening. He is refusing pain medication because he thinks he needs to be punished!..."

...ouch. We know it will take a lot of strength to get through the coming rehabilitation, so from the entire StreetFire team, we wish Richard a speedy recovery.

oh boy, sad day.. another Ferrari has joined the great beyond. The driver was unharmed.... Which may or may not remain the case as news of this spreads through the automotive community.
