Hayaboosta

Hayaboosta

BLUEBYU is offering up some dyno action for your delectation, but today we've got the 2-wheeled variety.

We're not sure the model year of the Hayabusa in this vid but let's just say it's a 2008 and it makes 194hp. Now that's a ridiculously large number. It's modestly respectable in a compact car but for a bike? Puhlease.

But no, that's just not enough for some people and so we bring you the Hayaboosta , a turbo'd version of this already insanely-quick bike that is now making...636hp. What?! Oh, and 330 lb-ft of torque. Whoever rides that bike has got seriously large cojones.

For something with just little bit more powe than that, check out Ronnie Aansen's Top Fuel Twin Drag Bike

Modified Mini

Modified Mini

Carsponsorships.com is plugging one of its clients in this vid, but the car's pretty cool, so we don't mind too much!

Master builder Paul Ireson has a 1975 Mini Cooper that's been highly performance customized and has a Honda Vtec Engine under the hood with a Master Turbo bolted on. We're digging the paint job but surely a car that small could do some tighter donuts than that?!

For a rather odd, yet supposedly fair, match-up, watch the Top Gear boys pit a Skoda Fabia against a Mini Cooper

R35 GT-R With 3.5" Turbo-Back Exhaust

R35 GT-R With 3.5 Turbo-Back Exhaust

cammedLs1 can always be counted on to bring us something interesting.

So the R35 GT-R has only just come out. So what? Doesn't mean you shouldn't instantly slap on some after-market parts to make it even meaner, right?!

Stand roadside and see what a 3.5" Turbo-Back Exhaust sounds like on this car. (Hint: pretty sweet).

Then make sure your radar's turned on as you ride In-car and enjoy some mean-sounding, and fast, acceleration bursts in the car.

1375rwhp & 1150rwhp Supras vs. Vette

1375rwhp & 1150rwhp Supras vs. Vette

A turbo-charged shout out to Qb2 Productions for this upload.

Seems Houston is the happening place to be, if this video is anything to go by. Get up close and personal with a few 'Vettes, plus two mildly-fast Supras. Well, anyone would think 1375rwhp and 1150rwhp are something to shout about...

See the cars race through traffic and then take their dueling to the drag strip, where you can even ride shotgun and see what all the fuss is about.

See what happens when it's Supra vs. LP640

'07 Shelby GT500: 8.92 1/4 mile Run!

Shelby GT500: 8.92 1/4 Mile Run!
The fellas over at Evolution Performance have been at it again; making modifications to a perfectly good, and fast, car to make it, well, even better and even quicker.

And, apparently, adding 67mm twin turbos and 22.5 lbs of boost to a stock 5.4L 2007 Shelby Mustang will turn your GT500 into a GT1019 (horsepower that is, with 1016 lb-ft of torque to go with it).

We head from the dyno to the drag strip to see what those performance numbers mean in the real world. Guess what? The car's bloody fast! And with our driver getting better and better starts, the car turns in a 8.92 second 1/4 mile run at 158mph. Carroll would be proud.

For a Ford vs. Dodge match-up, who's your money on when it's a '09 Challenger SRT8 vs. Mustang 427R ?

GMC...With A Little More Boost

GMC...With A Little More Boost

SYCLONE2910 we don't know what the hell you've done to that truck...but we like it.

Ah, the trusty pickup truck. Rugged, dependable, not always very quick off the mark. Until now. This GMC rocks and sounds like a F16 as it flies past. We love that it's doing about 95mph in a clearly marked 35mph zone. Excellent performance!

And, it's not even finished with yet. End result: it'll be good for about 1000hp. Bring. It. On.

BadAss 67 Mustang

BadAss 67 Mustang

Fist bump to STROKEDLS1Z289090 for this awesome dyno video.

And major hat tip to 1EVILSVT for shedding some light on this car's numbers!

The car apparently belongs to a Mr. Frank Pimpilio, and some bloke called Ernie, too. It uses a 570cid motor with two 88mm turbos and will run the 1/4 mile in 6.9 seconds at 230 mph. Yeah, 230, that's not a typo.

You can see it try to levitate off the ground as it maxes out the Livernois dyno. They couldn't get an official read but its HP is estimated at 2500+. Oh. Hell. Yeah.

You'd be pretty stupid not to check out this BadAss 67

This is what 1,000 HP looks like

View VideoTHEPHAT is sporting one of the most powerful rides on StreetFire.

Bolt some hair dryers onto an already stout motor and this is what you get. This car isn't a Dyno Queen either. It's trapping over 140mph in the quarter mile as well.

Video: Mercedes E55 vs Porsche 997 Turbo

View VideoBy ksingh
Uploaded by SpeedTorque.

Well being a fellow Mercedes E Class owner it was a good feeling to watch this E55 hang with the 997 Turbo. The 996... I mean 997 Turbo comes from the factory with 480HP and does a 0-60 in 3.7 seconds while the Merc comes equipped with 469HP and a 0-60 in about 4.3 seconds. There is something to be said about a sedan with a curb weight of around 4200 lbs that can run alongside a 997 Turbo. So when you're out looking for your next family car, consider the E55.
